my room is in horrendous shape. my sister and i tried on just about every piece of clothing i own last night only to settle into some frumpy thrift store blouses. it's hard to want to look cute when it's pouring outside. all in all, it was a night of tequila shots and late night artichoke dip. pretty good combo if you ask me. nooow, i'm off to scavenge for apartment stuff with the roommate-slash-cousin.  we just upgraded from using plastic spoons (with EVERY MEAL, including salads). next on the list - condiments!

i went running for the first time in 10,000 years today. i think i got about a 1/2 mile before my legs started to give out... yea, it's pretty bad. but you have to start somewhere, so i'll start there. i've also been reading a lot of really good quotes lately that seem to motivate me to live (hence, the running). now i'm listening to the entire mgmt cd while i make lunch. i miss the days where you would buy a cd and listen to it cover to cover for days.

i want your t-shirt patty smith! so far awesome time in sb (what else would i expect though, i mean come on). the girls and i made some bomb soup the other night and then drank enough wine to be thoroughly entertained by beyonce music videos. haha pretty sweet. i recommend 'if i were a boy' wait until the very end to understand why... i guess thats all.
